 Catherine Hawkins Catherine Hawkins is a commerical specialist with ten years of sales experience working within the sports sector. She launched Communicate Sport in October 2002. With a background in sales and marketing her experience includes running sales teams, developing and financing new events and publishing projects, event management and new business development. Catherine was Head of Sales at Sport Business, developing new titles such as I-Gaming Business & Football Business International, and prior to that had a succesful period as Business Development Director at leading European online advertising network ad pepper media. She has a BA Hons degree from Sheffield University in English Language and Linguistics and completed her CIM in 1999. She is chairman of 'The Bovrilship' - Fantasy Football League and a loyal Ipswich Town fan. David Hunter David joined Communicate Sport shortly after its inception in 2003, in order to establish the agency as a leader in the provision of marketing communications services to the sports industry. He now acts as a consultant to a number of clients, while spearheading sales and marketing for several core Communicate Sport products. His experience lies in communications and business development. Prior to Communicate Sport, he worked for SportBusiness Group and the Financial Times Group developing business across a wide range of publishing and information products. He has also worked as a sports journalist with Manchester United Magazine and as a football and swimming coach. Passionate about communications, David retains a particular interest in languages - having learned Spanish, he is currently studying Japanese. He also holds a BA degree in Sport with Management from Leeds University. |
